Since its founding in 1984 the Ohio Wildlife Center has:   Treated over 50,000 injured or orphaned wildlife,  Provided educational experiences to 950,000 children and adults,  Responded to over 550,000 wildlife hotline calls. This has all been made possible by the donation of 500,000 hours of dedicated volunteer work.
Position Opening - Hospital Admissions Coordinator

Responsible for managing wildlife hospital animal admissions, soliciting donations & coordinating customer calls relating to (HWS) Human Wildlife Solutions.

Minimum requirements:

  • HS diploma or GED
  • 3 yrs. experience working with the public in guest services or related area
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Basic computer entry skills: MS Excel and Access necessary
  • Working knowledge of Ohio wildlife
  • Able to work evenings & weekends

   Job Responsibilities & desired characteristics:

This individual will promote Ohio Wildlife Center (OWC) programs and services while presenting a positive attitude & professional image. Will adhere to OWC policies, operating standards and core values.

This is an Hourly Seasonal position with flex scheduling in off seasons (fall & winter).

Pay is hourly with no medical benefits.
