Since its founding in 1984 the Ohio Wildlife Center has:  • Treated over 50,000 injured or orphaned wildlife, • Provided educational experiences to 950,000 children and adults, • Responded to over 550,000 wildlife hotline calls. This has all been made possible by the donation of 500,000 hours of dedicated volunteer work.

How to Schedule An Education Program

Contact our Conservation Education Department at (614) 734-9453 or via email. Leave a detailed message with your name, telephone number, your group's name, the number of people in your group, the date and the time you wish to have an education program. Your email will be processed promptly, usually within 24-48 hours.

Advance Notice: At least 3 weeks notice is requested. The more notice we have, the better able we are to accommodate requests.

Program fees

As a nonprofit organization, financial assistance is critical for us to continue with our efforts on behalf of wildlife. The following fees apply to our outreach programs and public displays. Pricing for other programs may vary. Contact our Conservation Education Department (see above) for more information.

Education Outreach Programs
1 - 150 people $200.00
151 or more people  $300.00
· Additional consecutive programs are discounted 25%.
· Consecutive programs (up to 3) must be in the same location and not more than 1 hour between programs.
Education Inreach (onsite) Programs
10 - 60 people $175

Displays (with animals)
1 - 3 hours $200.00
· To ensure their well-being, some animals may need to removed in situations of excessive noise, heat or other commotion.
 
Mileage Fee
Mileage is included for destinations within 30 miles of the Ohio Wildlife Center. A fee of $1 per mile one way applies to all destinations greater than 30 miles.
